Student Progress
Report Cards
Teachers report the progress of children to parents at the end of each quarter of the school year. Parents are to review the report, then sign and return the envelope.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled after the end of the first quarter. For approximately six (6) days, students are released early from school. Parents and teachers meet and discuss the student’s progress in school. At this time, parent and teacher concerns can be discussed in an effort to better the student’s school year.
Conference/Teacher Contact
In many ways student’s benefit when parents keep in close contact with the school. Parent/Teacher conferences may be arranged by contacting your child’s teacher (preferably a week ahead). Pre-arranged conferences before or after school allows uninterrupted class time for the students as well as providing the parents and teacher adequate time to meet.
Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC)
The Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) Assessments are designed to measure student’s mastery of reading, writing and mathematics based on the Common Core State Standards. SBAC will be administered to 3rd-5th grade students using an online testing format. Student will be given 1 opportunity to take and pass the test. The tests will occur during the 2nd semester and will be scheduled by classroom teachers. Your child's score will be reported to the school and family.
